Kampus Idamanku

Ya, mungkin bagi sebagian orang mimpi S2 hanyalah angan belaka. Bagiku mimpi S2 adalah cita-citaku sejak kecil, sejak pertama kali kagum dengan Pak Habibie hingga kagum melihat robot ciptaan Jepang. Kali ini aku bercerita mengenai kampus idamanku. Mungkin sudah selangkah menuju kampus impianku, tapi masih jauh untuk menjadi bagian dari kampus itu. Oke ini pict-nya. Tuh keren kan? Ini sih Fakultas Kedokterannya. Tapi bangunannya stylish abiss. 11/12 sama JICA FPMIPA UPI lah heheu. (maklum alumni JICA) Bagi yang sudah tau, nama kampus ini adalah the Australian National University, people called them with its nickname ANU (read: Enyu bukan anu in bahasa). Tahun lalu, gw berusaha mencari jejak-jejak payung penelitian di kampus ini, dan berhasil memperoleh jawaban dari salah satu mahasiswa S3 di sana (alumni Matematika ITB). The Nature of Mathematics

Mathematics has no generally accepted definition, it’s caused background of mathematician, place, time and culture etc. The nature of mathematics is so meaningful, we can define math based on ethymology, ontology, axiology and ephistimology. Mathematics is science. W hat’s mathematics? Somestimes, we can define it depend on social background, culture, time, philosophy, school of thought etc. It causes there are a lot of definition about the nature of mathematics.
